My Canon 40D was a gift from my parents. We bought it at Click! Camera by the Dayton Mall, in Dayton Ohio. There might be one in your area...The Canon 40D Kit cost around $1700...that included a few little extras like a lense protector and the Compact Flash [CF] Card because it didn't come with it. I really do love the camera, I just haven't had a lot of time to read the manual and find out where everything is because people keep wanting photos done. So I've dedicated a little bit of my time each week to learn something new about it. =) Thanks for reading my blog...don't be a stranger.

Thanks so much for answering my questions, Morgan! That meant a lot, there are so many good cameras out there right now...I'm going back and forth between the Canon 40D, or the Nikon D40, or D80, and round and round! Thanks for the info. I will be buying my camera, so I didn't really, really, want to spend over a thousand. Thanks again, and I won't be a stranger. My aunt, uncle and grandmother live in Archbold, right next to Toledo. :)
